Common Dog Breed information

Working dogs, herding, utility, companion, toy, sporting dog, hunting dog, terriers and hounds... we love them all and celebrate their differences and uniqueness.

Different countries and kennel clubs have different classification systems for dog groups. We have compiled a partial list of the most popular dog breeds and have placed them in generally accepted breed groups. Please do not be offended if this differs slightly from your own kennel club classification. The breed standards are all from the F.C.I, the Fédération Cynologique Internationale which is the governing world breed club association.
